Municipalities and industries employ engineered reservoirs and natural reservoirs for water storage and reuse applications. Some reservoirs are compromised because they are prone to algae blooms and build up of organic bottom sediment.
By increasing dissolved oxygen throughout the reservoir the EOS-2000 can reduce algae blooms and bottom organic sediment and improve water quality.
Combatting eutrophication is a high priority in many regions of the world where nutrient levels are rising to the point of choking natural water systems. Lake Winnipeg and Lake Erie are prime candidates for EOS remediation.
